The retail division of Australia Post has created a program called Retail Essentials aimed at training new staff members and providing ongoing support. The idea was sound but needed a Creative and appropriate Media execution.
idea
A multimedia self-learning presentation was developed allowing interactive menus and self-assessment tools. Staff were given the program contained on CD and were able to conduct the training at their own pace. Through the company's intranet to over 200 stores nationally. An offline version was also available as a quick reference, categorised into colour-coded folders.
outcome
Australia Post was able to save on staff training programs with the effectiveness of the Retail Essentials training program
